»Piano Salon«
The Piano Salon lives off the active interaction between artist and audience. The artists will elucidate the pieces intoned. This includes the time-reference to the origin of the piece, classification of the piece as part of the composer life-time’s work, explanations to variations and characteristics of the piece and maybe anecdotes about the piece’s different presentations in the course of time and by various interpreters. But also the artist’s personal attitude towards the composition, possible preferences approaching comparable pieces and the artist’s own interpretation offer plenty of room for remarks that will be received enthusiastically by the audience and could finally culminate in the experience of a great dialogue with the artist.
